Golden Dragonfly Lace Bobbin Tatting Shuttle

Dave crafted this 2 ¼ inch bobbin shuttle out of dyed Box Edler wood. He has also inlayed a 14k gold dragonfly on one side and a dot of Truestone turquoise in the butt. It has a #14 steel crochet hook inset into the nose. This bobbin shuttle uses a common Singer Class 66 plastic bobbin that you can pickup at Wal-Mart or other sewing stores in the 4 pack for around $1. It has a brass post screw axel that the bobbin runs on and you can adjust the drag tension on the bobbin. More photos of this beautiful tatting shuttle can be seen at the Ebay auction listing.
